Windows doesn't display images anymore

Issue

• Windows does not display any image format and is asking you to specify the software application to open the file. (Unrecognized extension).

Solution

• The image viewer Windows no longer works.
• You can activate it using:

  • Start> Run> regsvr32 shimgvw.dll 

• If the above solution does not work, download and copy this file into the registry.
